Unleash your child's creativity this school holidays with an art class at Number 99! Let them make the mess here instead of at home!

 

Designed for young artists, this 2-hour workshop is inspired by the vibrant and iconic style of Frida Kahlo.

 

During the class, students will create a personalised portrait, capturing the essence of themselves, a family member, or a friend. Embracing Kahlo's unique flair, each portrait will be framed in a beautiful Mexican-style card frame, perfect for displaying at home.

 

Our art facilitator Tammie Castles will guide the process:

• Frida Kahlo-Inspired Portrait: Learn about Kahlo's distinctive style and create a unique self-portrait or a portrait of a loved one.

• Mexican-Style Card Frame: Craft a stunning niche frame to beautifully showcase the artwork.

Please pack a water bottle and snack for your child. 

All ages welcome! If your child is 7+ you are welcome to 'drop & run' or stay and help your child to create their masterpiece.
